Roseville K&N Race 10-11-14
Finished - 6th
Last week, Joey headed up north to compete in the K&N
Pro Series Race in Roseville. He showed good speed in
both of the practice sessions and ended up posting a
qualifying time of 13.952, putting him 11th on the
board. After a tough battle for each spot Joey ran the
majority of the race in the top 5. As the white flag
flew, Joey had a mirror full of the # 17 car and held
him off as long as he could but would have to settle for
a hard fought 6th place finish. "The car ran great and
my crew did a great job", stated Joey. "Id like to thank
Dave Hanson and the rest of the crew for really stepping
up and giving us a very competitive car. I'd also like
to give a special thanks to Wade and Cindie from Diverse
Machine. Besides their support as a sponsor, Cindie
provided a great lunch for the crew and Wade was helping
with the car all day. He even has the burns on his arm
to prove it. LOL".
Joey was also able to ink a deal with a new marketing
partner for 2015. "I am really excited about our program
and welcome aboard our new partner, Leaf Solar Power".
The official announcement will be made next week.
Joey would like to extend a big thanks to Diverse
Machine, Component Finishing, Royal Purple Oil, Over
Revd Energy, and Red Chapter Clothing!
This week, Joey will head back to Irwindale to go for
another win in the #77 Dodge Dakota.
